How to Make a Christmas Wreath with Ornaments and Ribbon: Step by Step Instructions

Making your own Christmas wrath is super easy. There are many ways to do it, but we feel that this method is the best because it’s so quick, easy and cheap, yet the result looks absolutely fantastic.

You will need:

Wreath frame
Ribbon
Ornaments
Needle nose pliers
Glue gun

Instructions:

Step one: Build your frame

For a small wreath of approximately 16 inches in diameter, you can use a wire coat-hanger. Use the pliers to carefully bend it into a circle shape. If you’d like to make a larger wreath, you can buy 12-gauge aluminum wire on Amazon – this is about the right thickness.

Step two: Prepare your ornaments

Your Christmas ornaments should include plastic baubles of various sizes, along with ornaments of other shapes such as snowflakes, candy canes, beads or bells if you wish.

One problem with Christmas baubles is that the caps can come off easily. To solve this, you should first remove the cap from each ball and glue it back on using the hot glue gun.
